Hey there!

For those who crave for more Romantic Comedy, you should try this one! Kimi ni Todoke's Season 1 has 25 Episodes in all. The Season 2 is still airing on Japan since the start of this year.

About the Anime

Just like what I said earlier, it's first season has 25 episodes and the second season is still on airing.  The story is all about a girl, named Kuronuma Sawako, called Sadako by her classmates, for her resemblance to the character from "The Ring".

There were rumors also about her that she can see ghost and can curse people. However, despite of her appearance, she is a kind and sweet girl who longs to be friends with everyone.

When her idol, Kazehaya Shouta started speaking to her, her world suddenly changes. She found herself in a new world. Of course, a sweet love is blossoming between the two as they will clear obstacles in their way. 

About the Manga

As of March 11, Year 2011, the 13th volume of Kimi ni Todoke was released in Japan.  The manga is still ongoing. For now, Chapter 0-58 was already translated to English. The story goes on in the manga like in the anime.

Characters

Kazehaya Shouta, Pedro Martinez/Maru, Kuronuma Sawako

• Kuronuma Sawako - She is a shy girl who is in search of friendship, but her resemblance to Sadako, makes this difficult. Thanks to Kazehaya's kind and open nature, she was able to open up with her classmates. After Kazehaya tells her that he likes her, she believes it was a misunderstanding and he simply likes her as a friend. After the having everything cleared up, they started dating.

• Kazehaya Shouta - He is outgoing and friendly, and is Sawako's idol. He is so popular in Middle School that's why so many girls liked him. He has held a long standing love for Sawako and admits (not to Sawako) that he likes her, unaware that she feels the same. 

Chizura Yoshida, Ayane Yano

• Chizuru Yoshida - She is the tomboy of the group and admits it when Ryu calls them brothers. She can be very emotional at times, usually seen humorously crying after a touching moment between her friends. She is a close childhood friend of Ryu, her neighbor, and went they same middle school. Because of this Ryu's family regards her and her family as their own and vice-versa.

• Ayane Yano - She is a close friend of Sawako. She is the most mature of the group and has a boyfriend in college and as well as having her ear pierced multiple times. She usually look calm, but she is easily infuriated when someone hurts Sawako and does not hesitate to attack the one she believe is the responsible. 

Ryu Sanada

• Ryu Sanada - He is also member of Sawako's group of friends. He is the son of a ramen shop owner of Chizuru's favorite ramen shop. He and Kazehaya are close friends. He does not deny his feelings for Chizuru. Ryu seems to like animals a lot. A running gag in the series that he has a very hard time remembering a person's name.

Kazuichi "Pin" Arai

• Kazuichi "Pin" Arai - Pin is a great fan of baseball as well as the school's baseball team's coach. He knows Kazehaya since when he is young. He is a loud and eccentric man prone to believing the silliest things, Pin apparently enjoys interrupting people. Despite being a teacher, he acts more like a teenager. 

Ume "Kurumi" Kurumizawa

• Ume "Kurumi" Kurumizawa - A girls who appears to be sweet and kind to everyone around her. She has a huge crush on Kazehaya. She dislikes her given name, Ume, because it sound too old-fashioned and prefers to be called by her nickname, Kurumi. She is jealous of Sawako that's why she started to spread the fake rumors about her. She is able to be in her true self when she is with Sawako. After beging rejected by Kazehaya, she is able to express her true self and personality.

Ouran High School Host Club!

I recommend you this Anime! Watch it! It has 26 episodes in all. Sadly, for now, it has no Season 2. But I am hoping that someday, somehow, it will have a second season.

About the Anime

Haruhi Fujioka, a scholar student at Ouran Academy, was looking for a Quiet place to study. Haruhi stumbles on the Third Music Room, a room where a Host Club existed. The Host club was composed of the 6 handsome and remarkable male students of the Academy.

During their first meeting, Haruhi accidentally breaks an antique vase valued 8,000,00 Japanese yen (80,00 US Dollar in the Manga) and is told to repay the cost by serving the club.

Haruhi's short hair glouching attire and gender-ambigous look cause her to be mistaken by the host for a male student. The host agree that Haruhi would be a good host, thus making her join the club. And she agrees join since she don't mind hosting as long as she can pay off her debt faster.

The host do later find out, that she was indeed a girl. They kept it a secret, so no one will be able to tell. And thus, the adventures of Haruhi Fujioka as a Host has started.

About the Manga

It is completed. The manga has 18 volumes and 83 chapters and 2 additional chapters. The story in the manga goes like in the anime, though in the anime it shows that Haruhi shows no interest even one of the host, while in the manga, Haruhi eventually falls inlove with Tamaki, much to her own displeasure.

Characters

Haruhi Fujioka

•  Haruhi Fujioka - She is the main protagonist of the story. She is the scholar student in Ouran. She has Brown hair and Eyes. She is the "Natural Type".

Tamaki Suoh

• Tamaki Suoh - He's the "Idiotic King" of the Host Club. He is blond and have Blue/Purple Eyes. Self proclaim as the "Daddy of the Group". He considers his relationship with Haruhi as paternal in nature, but is often seen using it to mask his true feelings.

Hikaru & Kaoru Hitachiin, Kyouya Ootori

• Kyouya Ootori - Tamaki's best friend. He's the "Cool Type". He is considered as the "Mommy" of the club by Tamaki. He has Black Hair and Eyes. He wears glasses.

• Hikaru & Kaoru Hitachiin - Hikaru is the older twin and Kaoru's the younger on. They're consider as the "Little Devil Type". Haruhi was the very first one to tell them apart, that's why the twins develop a strong feelings for her.

Takashi Morinozuka, Mitsukuni (Honey) Haninozuka

• Mitsukuni Haninozuka - Also known as "Honey". He is known as the "Shota Type". He looks like an elementary school student than the 17-year-old student that actually he is, which giving him an excuse to look cute while holding a toy bunny, Usa-chan. He is also champion in Judo and Karate in school.

• Takashi Morinozuka - Also known as "Mori". His character is "Strong and Silent Type." His strength can compare with Honey's. He is also the champion in Kendo in school. His family served the Haninozuka's until a marriage between two generation ago made them cousins. Still, he continues to serve faithfully as Honey's guardian and best friend.
