Hey there!

For those who crave for more Romantic Comedy, you should try this one! Kimi ni Todoke's Season 1 has 25 Episodes in all. The Season 2 is still airing on Japan since the start of this year.

Just like what I said earlier, it's first season has 25 episodes and the second season is still on airing.  The story is all about a girl, named Kuronuma Sawako, called Sadako by her classmates, for her resemblance to the character from "The Ring".

There were rumors also about her that she can see ghost and can curse people. However, despite of her appearance, she is a kind and sweet girl who longs to be friends with everyone.

When her idol, Kazehaya Shouta started speaking to her, her world suddenly changes. She found herself in a new world. Of course, a sweet love is blossoming between the two as they will clear obstacles in their way. 

As of March 11, Year 2011, the 13th volume of Kimi ni Todoke was released in Japan.  The manga is still ongoing. For now, Chapter 0-58 was already translated to English. The story goes on in the manga like in the anime.

• Kuronuma Sawako - She is a shy girl who is in search of friendship, but her resemblance to Sadako, makes this difficult. Thanks to Kazehaya's kind and open nature, she was able to open up with her classmates. After Kazehaya tells her that he likes her, she believes it was a misunderstanding and he simply likes her as a friend. After the having everything cleared up, they started dating.

• Kazehaya Shouta - He is outgoing and friendly, and is Sawako's idol. He is so popular in Middle School that's why so many girls liked him. He has held a long standing love for Sawako and admits (not to Sawako) that he likes her, unaware that she feels the same. 

• Chizuru Yoshida - She is the tomboy of the group and admits it when Ryu calls them brothers. She can be very emotional at times, usually seen humorously crying after a touching moment between her friends. She is a close childhood friend of Ryu, her neighbor, and went they same middle school. Because of this Ryu's family regards her and her family as their own and vice-versa.

• Ayane Yano - She is a close friend of Sawako. She is the most mature of the group and has a boyfriend in college and as well as having her ear pierced multiple times. She usually look calm, but she is easily infuriated when someone hurts Sawako and does not hesitate to attack the one she believe is the responsible. 

• Ryu Sanada - He is also member of Sawako's group of friends. He is the son of a ramen shop owner of Chizuru's favorite ramen shop. He and Kazehaya are close friends. He does not deny his feelings for Chizuru. Ryu seems to like animals a lot. A running gag in the series that he has a very hard time remembering a person's name.

• Kazuichi "Pin" Arai - Pin is a great fan of baseball as well as the school's baseball team's coach. He knows Kazehaya since when he is young. He is a loud and eccentric man prone to believing the silliest things, Pin apparently enjoys interrupting people. Despite being a teacher, he acts more like a teenager. 

• Ume "Kurumi" Kurumizawa - A girls who appears to be sweet and kind to everyone around her. She has a huge crush on Kazehaya. She dislikes her given name, Ume, because it sound too old-fashioned and prefers to be called by her nickname, Kurumi. She is jealous of Sawako that's why she started to spread the fake rumors about her. She is able to be in her true self when she is with Sawako. After beging rejected by Kazehaya, she is able to express her true self and personality.
